Killarney Racecourse is without doubt Ireland’s, and possibly the World’s, Most Scenic Racecourse. With the magnificent McGuillycuddy Reeks, Lakes of Killarney and Ross Castle providing the backdrop, the view as the horses pass the finishing line can only be described as breathtaking.
Each year Killarney hosts 11 days of racing split over three Summer Festivals. The three day May meeting opens the season and the season builds towards the four day July meeting. This festival is one of the highlights on Ireland’s social calendars and is one of the best days out during the summer season.
